Boudoir PhotographerCentral Coast NSW
A boudoir session isn’t just about beautiful photographs, it is a chance for you to define who you are.
The beauty within. I offer a fun, relaxed atmosphere where you are totally in control of the shoot. I offer individual, couples and male shoots on location or in a studio environment.
These sessions are all about you feeling comfortable in your own skin.
If you have questions, please see our Frequently Asked Questions below.
Frequently asked Questions about Boudoir Photoshoots
Q – You are a male photographer, why should I chose you?
A – I have a beautiful wife to whom I have been married to for over 30 years and 2 beautiful daughters. I treat our shoot together as I would expect anybody to treat the 3 most important people in my life, that being with respect and dignity.
You are in complete control of the shoot and won’t be asked to pose or be photographed in any way that you feel uncomfortable. During my shoots I regularly show you the back of the camera and any photographs you are uncomfortable with are deleted in front of you.
Q – I have always been interested in trying a boudoir shoot but nerves have got the better of me.
A – Feeling nervous is perfectly normal. This nervousness also makes the exhilaration of seeing your finished shoot even better. I have had many clients express after the shoot that they wish they had done it a lot earlier as it was so much fun.
Q – Do I need to be naked for the shoot?
A – Definitely not. The choice is yours. While some skin is shown, your underwear is kept on if you feel more comfortable. You can show is little or as much skin as you feel comfortable in the shoot.
Q – How long is the shoot?
A – I allow up to 4 hrs for the shoot so you don’t feel rushed. This doesn’t necessarily mean the shoot will take this long, however, I like to allow enough time for you to get the photographs you would like without feeling rushed.
Q – Where do the shoots take place.
A – shoots can be taken in your home, in a hotel room or at a studio I work out of in Woy Woy on the Central Coast. Shots can also be taken outside in secluded areas if this is what you would like.
Q – Will there be any other people at shoot?
A – The simple answer is NO. However, if you would like the services of a Makeup artist or would like a friend or partner to be present, then they will be the only other people present.
Q – Do you photoshop the images?
A – All my finished photographs are professionally retouched. The amount is up to you.
I can just remove skin blemishes, acne etc if that is all you would like. My personal style is not to give you a “Barbie” look finished photograph with porcelain skin. Their are photographers that are happy to do this for you if that is what you like, however, it is not my style.
Q -Will you use my images for your personal portfolio or website/blog ?
A – Before we shoot you will sign a contract and in the contract will be a section that you sign giving me to use any or all of the photographs or none at all. The decision is yours. Some clients have been happy to allow me to use certain images from the shoot and not others, however, the choice is yours.
Q. How much does a shoot cost?
A – Shoots start at $450 and can be tailored to your specific needs. Digital images only, framed prints, books and boxed images are also available.
